Frigga Spinning the clouds.
In Norse mythology, Frigga, also spelled Frigg, is the wife of Odin. Originally a Germanic earth goddess, she came to be associated with the Scandinavian Freyja and thus was worshiped as a goddess of fertility and love. From her similarities with the Roman goddess of love and beauty Venus, the Latin day dedicated to Venus came to be known in Germanic-speaking countries as Frigg's Day or Friday. Frigg was said to spins clouds from her bejeweled distaff in the Norse constellation known as Frigg's Spinning Wheel.
